The app and its audio effect
Shabu Shabu Reverb does not include accounts, advertising, analytics or tracking. It does not collect or send your audio, presets, controller movements or playing activity to the developer.
Audio is processed on your device. Settings and saved presets are stored locally. Your music host can also save effect settings in its projects.
Files you choose
Within the AUv3 effect, you may import a preset or export a preset to a location you choose. An exported preset contains its name and effect settings. Shabu Shabu does not upload these files to the developer. If you choose iCloud Drive, another file provider, a music host or a sharing app, that service handles the file under its own policies.
The included app provides a welcome and links to this guide and support; it does not play audio or record your microphone. Your AUv3 music host supplies incoming audio and manages playback and audio routing.
Keeping and removing your work
You can remove a saved preset from its menu. Export anything you want to keep before deleting the app. Copies already saved in a host project or exported elsewhere remain there until you remove them.
This website and support
These pages are hosted through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare. A visit sends normal technical connection information, such as an IP address, to the hosting infrastructure. The Shabu Shabu pages add no advertising or analytics scripts. The optional demo player connects to YouTube only after you choose Play. It uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed; YouTube then receives connection information and handles playback under its own privacy policy. Opening the YouTube link also takes you to that service. Fonts use your device’s available font families.
